love of going fast
Accord2k and lightshow I agree with you guys, but I wanted to chime in with my two cents too. Tracks are amazing, they can really be fun and you can show off the potential of your car and all that jazz. Now that is somewhere that I would take my 240SX. My Honda Accord is not exactly a track car. So if I want to open it up around my area, just like lightshow and accord2k said, go to a deserted highway or a road with no cars and have some fun. But there is a lot of responsibility with that. you need to know what to do in case something happens. Car control is the key. I have a buddy that just wrecked his 97 Camaro because he slid in the rain into a tree. They were lucky they weren't dead. But he can't drive all that well and tried to show off. You need to feel comfortable in the car.
yeah, i hear you on that one, the same guy who was broad sided by the woodby escape was sitting passenger in his friends gsr when the driver decided to be cute and drive 80 on a blind corner and went from 80 to 0 in about 2 seconds after taking out a whole line of fence and slamming into a tree, the guy sitting in back was taking glass out of his skull for about a month cause no one went to the hospital............. i know too many idiots....... and they all survived...... and the driver grew a complex thinking he couldnt die......... im still waiting for him to get a clue.....

um, first of its wondering. secondly, you're bashing the police from stopping idiots like you from going triple digit speeds? boo-hoo. take it to a track
No offense dude, but if you're going to "bash" someone else for a 'stupid' comment, then make sure your response makes sense..."um, first of its wondering. "

Makes sense to me, the bashing cops might be execessive. Learn to use the quote button silly.
Heheh... That BS Meter is pretty cool! Jeez... Im in New Jersey and we have plenty of roads with zero traffic. I took my car out there just to see what she would do. I didn't go crazy she did hit 120 in a decent amount of time. I just backed off her and felt satisfied. The road is about 5 to 6 miles long with no bends. So other than me and bugs that's about it. I can at least say been there done that and move on. The German autobahn is way more exciting anyway.
I have another question should I save a little longer and get mufflers or should i get this thing that plugs into the cig. liter and tells you true e/t, 0-60, shift light, and true horse power (I have money for that right now)
What I would do is still save for the performance parts (mufflers or whatever you had in mind) and then wait to get the "thing that plugs into the cig. lighter" later on. Although it would be nice to have all those stats at once. Oh, GReddy RSPL is on the way for the 240!
