Default Noisy Cabin Fix?

I have had a 2008 Accord for six months and absolutely love it but, the noise level in the cabin is too much at times.
This is specially so in highway driving.
Are any fixes for lowering the cabin noise?
thanks

Is it road noise...like tire noise or just interior noise with the windows rolled up?

It's just the rumble of the road. It's not the tires, they are new and quieter than the old ones. New road surfaces are much quieter.
I looked up Consumerreports.org and the only negative about the Accord is "Noisy Cabin", which confirms my opinion.
thanks

My 2010 EX-L V6 is the same. A local body shop owner told me that the problem is the basic design of the frame/body. Gutting the interior & adding dynamax might quiet things, but no guarantee. Some people like the noise/rumble as it reminds them they are in a car. Alternative - BMW, Lexus, or Mercedes, but then you're paying $10 - $20k more per car.

gutting it out and adding Second Skin and insulation in the rear and trunk panels makes a big difference in road noise. also eliminates the "hollow" or echoing sound from the sound system. car noise is definitely dampened with this fix. when my pilot tires wear out, i will replace them with the MXVs - these are much quieter. (09 i4 exl coupe, 18k miles).

Would different tires help? I have the Michelin Pilot HX MXM4 P225 50R17 on my Honda 2010. The noise is bad on the interestate. The car drives and handles well. I can wear ear plugs are turn the radio up to drown out the road noise. Wondering if new tires would help?

I think your tires may be part of the problem, but cabin noise is subjective. I have no problem w/ interior noise in my 07, but would admit it's no Acura TL or high end Mercedes for interior noise.

Anything which says "all weather" is usually noisy in my experience.

good luck
