And rice, why not ditch those 2 rifles and get a gun that shoots straight? hahaha

 

The Nagant is fairly accurate, fires a large round, and is pretty much a collectors piece(in my eyes). And who can forget its cheap, and the ammo for it is cheap, and you dont burn through ammo.

That and I personally LOVE the AK. I think it is one of the most badbutt guns there is. And its counterpart is the sexiest gun(SVD). I know its not the most accurate gun, but it gets the job done, and has proven this in every civil war and revolution for the past 50 years.

 

Id go with the nagant for the historical value... to me the AK is just another mass produced pile of garbage to keep lead going towards the enemy, no real value except for its "badbutt" mystic it has... but thats just my $.02. The AK will be around for a while, so why not buy it later on when you can easily toss $500 at it? And gun laws... i dont know much about them since I dont really care as long as they dont take away my right to own one and my priviledge to hunt with it... but does it matter if you have an AK before or after Obamas plan goes into effect? I mean, its still an AK, whether or not you bought it before or after the law...

 

I can understand where you are coming from with the massproduced part, as clearly they were as you can get a:
Russian
Polish
Bulgarian
Romanian
Egyptian
Chinese

and the list goes on. However there is no denying that it is one of the most reliable rifles there is. I just dont want obama to put the assault rifle ban back into effect then not be able to buy one, thats why I want to get one now. My friend owns both a Nagant and AK, so I am going to see if he will let me shoot them both then I will make my decision.

 

Obama has a lot of other issues to tackle before he can even consider something like an assault weapons ban.

Where are you buying the rifle from? I see the nagant advertised at big 5 quite often. I asked them once how they get all these vintage guns and I guess there were huge stock piles of them. The only reason I like the AK is becuase of cs lol

 

There are a few local gun stores that stock both. I am going to shoot my friends AK and nagant tomorrow. Yeah it is quite interesting how we get all these WWII era guns, I find it quite interesting, especially since I have always had a bit of a obsession with the Soviet .

 

Well gas prices are starting to go back up now around me. Btw the escort 9500ix is amazing! It picked up as soon as I turned a corner on a full Ka blast and it was maybe about a half mile down the road the cop had someone pulled over. I'm gonna make a vid of it picking up a speed sign with a full K blast almost the whole time. I love it and I recommend it to everyone!!
