I think I'm going to get these:

Kumho Ecsta LX Platinums

They have a treadwear of 600, all reviews I've read are positive and best of all they are only $110/tire. I don't need any uber sticky tire, I don't race nor can I drive like a maniac because of my moving violations. Should be a good mix of handling when I want it and treadwear cause I need it!

It looks like an alligator got run over and stuck to the wheel. I havent heard anything good about Falkens in term of longetivity. I had 280 TW Kumho Supra 712s and they lasted a long time. Hopefully I can get 4 summers out of these or more, along with winter tires in the winter now

No what you need are goodyear assurance tires! They aren't cheap, but god are they smooth. Not only do they grip like crazy, but they totally smoothed out the ride. I love them, and would only buy these tires in the future.

They don't make those in 225/40/R18...

And I'm not about to spend more money on tired with lower treadwear...

I don't really care about smoothness or anything... I'm dropped 2.5 inches with my shocks set to full stiffness, i dont have time to hear in between catching my breathe and shaking off the nausea lol. I'm poor, I want a tire that I wont get into an accident with and it will last me a long time.

I have falken fk-452s and they would have lasted fine had my camber not absolutely destroyed them.
