any oil filter will do...........as far as i know there arent oil filters intended just for synthetic oil, and by any oil filter i mean dont use fram or stp or anything stupid like that. I usually either run mobil 1 or honda.

Now that we are on idiotic oil questions, I just realized now when I got my oil changed they may have put regular oil in it. I asked for and paid for full synthetic, but I noticed today that the sticker was only 3k miles after I took it in. I've done about 2500 miles since the change, I pulled my dipstick and the oil looks like newish synthetic. I've never had regular oil in any of my cars so I don't even know what it looks like. After 2500 miles on regular oil would it be newish looking. And if they did put regular oil in, is it bad that I went from only ever having synthetic, to one cycle of regular, back to synthetic? I think I'm going to take a pic for you guys to see.

I change mine between 5k and 6k, never gone past 6k but I think you can go up to 10k. But changing it at 5k puts almost no wear on your engine, or so I've been told.
