Just got my xbox FTW. I must say I am impressed with their service, It was only a couple of weeks it took to get it back, and they even put a new face plate to the disk tray on that i had lost.

 

Whats your gamertag again? Hope some of you guys get left 4 dead already, or at least rent it so you can try it's greatness lol

Lol Yea its crazy how so many people actually have live accounts now. With the original xbox, only hardcore nerds were on live. It was a nerd paradise

 

Who cares if the one time users have gamertags. Maybe accordlxmaster has a gamertag.

 

Yeah its pretty fast. But the 1st refurbished 360 they sent me was an even worse POS (they dont send your original 360 back which is b/s in my opinion). Locked up every 10 minutes. Are they still giving people a month of Live for free?




I got Live in 8th grade or freshman year! Right after we got DSL.

Yes they gave me the free month of live. And they sent me the same xbox back unless they happen to place the same sticker in the same location on it.

 

I think they print out new stickers. I never got the same case back, as I put a very small mark on them and they came back without them. I've sent an xbox in that from the outside it looked like I never opened it, but on the inside it was obvious I had been in there. Other people have done the same, so it leads us to believe they take the faceplate off, check the warranty sticker check the back for signs of forcing it open, then just give a go ahead for them to get a refurb xbox set up for you. So it's not like they open it up and debug it individually. Hope that made sense I'm really baked.

EDIT: That is for a RROD, if you just have a DDEing DVD drive, they just give you a new drive. But if the drive fails completely it causes a RROD.
