No way... driving barefoot sucks when you need to clutch... especially needing to downshift on the freeway and missing the pedal with the toes.

I was riding in a Malibu '98 and that slushbox shifted harder than me dumping my clutch.

 

I love my AT I just wish it had a downshift button, there are times where my tranny just wants me to get t-boned...

 

Wouldn't hurt to drop it into D3... what does the shifter say? Mine was P-R-N-D4-D3-2-1, but aren't the newer ones just P-R-N-D-L? Also, at any speed, pedal to the floor will tell the tranny to down shift and hurry the **** up.

 

im in a 08 fusion, thing has 0 power. and it says its a v-6. gonna rip thru it. see you all next week.

 

No I mean when coming to rolling stop before making a left turn in traffic, my At likes to stay in 2nd gear. Then when I accelerate it laggs, then decides to downshift late making me take much longer to cross than I had planned for. Now I just watch it and wait for it to shift into 1st before trying to cross big highways like US 1. I'd hate having to drive stick all the time, and my car is so slow it feels pointless. I do enjoy driving my freinds RX-8 MT though lol
