I know that the total @ Midas for brakes is $300. But I want decent brakes that will last. There is a guy selling some drilled + slotted brembo blanks that i'd like. $150 for two sets, whatcha think? I'll try to call 2morrow to see if theyll even install your own brakes.

And do you know if your going? I'd like to meet you!
I need new brakes too (warped), but if the pads are okay, I'd hold off and get the shocks first. Drilled rotors heat up faster, slotted are okay. With today's pad tech, they're both fairly useless, just look good. Brembo blank rotors are like $50 ea, so yeah I'd consider $150 a good deal, but only if they're legit brembos and you dont get scammed again this time.

And yes, fairly certain I will make the chicago meet.... with a new hood!

I thought the purpose of drilling and slotting was to allow for better heat dissipation since heated rotors causes brake fade. All I want is the longest lasting brake! On eBay I found Brembo brakes that are drilled + slotted with ultimate ceramic pads for like $130 shipped.

I need to figure out why my steering wheel and car are shuddering/shaking so badly. It is driving me crazy.

hmmm....first time ive spun the tires on dry pavement. Must of been b/c there is about a 60 minute delay before the stupid transmission shifts into drive.

Painted wiper arms, backed car outside to bake in sub, wind flips up newspaper onto wiper arms + takes paint off, i get mad, peel off into garage, repaint, shut, and here i am.
