Oh so I can waste $500 on the accord that is 9 years old with a dying tranny?? LOL. I did think about getting the Evo2 exhaust but it wont be good enough for the long run for my car. Everyone I know tells me to buy rims but I always tell them im never gonna. I dont want to dump a lot of money into my car and then see it die soon after.(Like falkore and cjdm)(sorry to bring up those sad memories) I think of it like this, I spent $500 on a radar detector, but the pro of that is that it can be used in every car and I will never have to buy another one because I take care of it. So I consider it like a universal part lol.

Ray... I justified spending money on my car the same way... I invested in "universal" parts that could be transplanted on the next car... I would like to get a Beltronics detector though, theyre are the same hardware and company, yet I think theyre a little prettier... but... I dont have money to cough up for a detector that becomes useless if you just slow down, which I did and I havent had a ticket since August (thats a long run for me lol).
