I had one of those in my suburban with a clifford RSX. It was great if you left the windows open and someone would stick their hand in the alarm would go off. But every time someone walks by your car it would chirp, and on windy days it would be chirping randomly all day long. My alarm may have been protecting my car from getting stolen, but was never protecting what's inside. I don't believe in wasting money on an alarm anymore, expect for my idea of loading the inside of the car with sirens and a air horn, so you can't be inside the car without blowing your ear drums.

Finaly some pictures of Ang's rides. Think an Accord may have been a better choice though.

Ray... I justified spending money on my car the same way... I invested in "universal" parts that could be transplanted on the next car... I would like to get a Beltronics detector though, theyre are the same hardware and company, yet I think theyre a little prettier... but... I dont have money to cough up for a detector that becomes useless if you just slow down, which I did and I havent had a ticket since August (thats a long run for me lol).

Here's what I just bought:

DEI RF Motion Detector for my alarm.. MSRP is like $40-50... got it for $20 shipped
Beltronics is very good. My friend has the Beltronics RX65 and its very good. Now if you wanna get really messy you can go for the beltronics Sti-driver. The only thing better about escorts is that they are better with the online updates. Beltronics has been shady with them, but the main point is that they are great detectors. Now for laser jammers.....

Its seems to be very consistent, I havent had a chance to mess with the sites or anything yet, so havent gotten any great groupings. Once its warmer out I will get her sited in real nice. Only shot maybe 40 rounds through it. Had bad accuracy luck with my shotty today [:@]

Lol... did you invest in a good cleaning kit?

You can get one with rods, brass brushes, wooly brushes, patches, fluids and oil for like $20 from the "famr & fleet" store, "Fleet Farm" here...

I recommend cleaning the trigger assembly every other time you clean the action and barrel... especially on the brand new Mossberg

You would need a shotgun scope mount and scope if you want any accuracy... I shot out a deers leg from 100 yards with a 20 ga. slug. But it also had a 9x25 scope on it.

yeah I dont think i'll be putting a scope on it. its just for fun/home protection. I am confident that I could hit someone that was in my home with it.
