Default 1989 Accord

Just hit 410,000 with my '89 Accord on original engine and it is still going strong. I took a picture when it hit 400,000.

Nothing major except new diodes for alternator and lower front ball joint.

I feel like I'm on a "mission from God" and any minute it's going to fall apart Blues Brother's style.

99 Accord Sedan EX 3.0L, AT. 198,000 miles when I picked it up as a salvage (199,500 now) at auction for $ 1,000.00. Amazingly clean interior, so so exterior, damaged in the rear end but the frame is straight (got a trunk and rear bumper off an LX from the junk yard with matching black paint for $ 400.00) and new inner fenders (rockauto $30) clean interior. Replaced the radiator (rockauto $ 75) which was cracked and installed a transmission oil cooler ($ 50.00 ebay) The exhaust pipes have 2 holes you could almost stick your hand so as long as I was replacing that I decided to upgrade the entire exhaust system. I have ordered a generic chrome cat back exhaust ($ 150.00 ebay) high flow cat ( $45 ebay) and performance headers ($100.00 ebay) and a RAM air intake ($35 ebay.) All prices include shipping.

The transmission is on its last legs and I need to replace the struts.
I bought the car to get me to work while my Nissan was getting some work done and planned to just flip it. This is my first Honda and it turns out I love this car. The availability of aftermarket parts rocks and they are such a breeze to work on no way I'm getting rid of it.

Anyone want to buy an 06 4WD XTerra SE?
