I honestly don't know. I just bought this car this past summer. The clutch is good though. I'm assuming it's at least the original engine, it's runs good but you can tell it has some miles. A little lifter tick, but I also have an oil leak somewhere, she gets a little noisy when the oil gets low. I'm doing a swap this summer if I have the money.

Default 96' Accord

277k miles. Original engine, chassis and transmission.

I'm hoping to take 'er to 300,000. Needs front half of exhaust and some sanding and priming to remove rust. I'm going to run a compression test to see how much life is left in the engine. I think if she makes it to 300k I'll redo the exhaust and install a stainless steel exhaust manifold.

Default My dads track record

1989 accord he got 580k on his LX but the transmission died so he traded it in for $200 - believe it or not the engine was still strong.

Replaced that with a 2002 civic since it was about the same size. He loved that car and had a stick shift. He drove like a grandpa lol but would avg 44mpg to 50. Head gasket died at 320k and he sold it to my brother for $500 who put $500 new head in and it runs again.

This 1989 i am helping my father in law with currently has 240k on it and engine is strong but needs some loving for the carb, clutch, and i think a timing and drive belts.

190k on a 2001 EX V6 with the J30A1 and 4AT. Engine is flawless - uses no oil and on the highway averages 27 mpg with 93 octane and Mobil 1 synthetic 10W-30 oil. Tranny is perfect with smooth shifts. ride is great. last week I drove 1,000 miles in it and they were comfortable and enjoyable. regular maintenance on all fluids and suspension. No major failures or repairs.

Wink Finally

216,000 miles on my 1994 Accord EX, but decided to replace my clutch for the first time in this great ride. Also CV axles that were starting to leak.
