The only thing I have done to this car is

- Front wheel bearing
Still has original struts. replacing struts, upper and lower control arms this weekend.

This is why I buy Honda!

I'm still on the original suspension at 200K on a 2000EX. No wheel bearing problems yet. So far 2 timing belts, 1 water pump, 3 batteries, replaced both O2 sensor's, brakes at 110K (still had plenty of pad remaining), tires 3 or 4 times, plugs once 110K (they still looked good), plug wires, cap/rotor, last repair was a clutch slave cylinder. Replaced it with a Dorman part for $20.00 and an hour of my time. I agree these cars last forever.

Default miles, misbehaving CPU? test charging system first.

i think its close to
199867 something like that

so since iposted last ive done
axles
bearings
swapped in spare spindles with all new stuff.
valve cover gskt

egr ports with new little caps,
used long metal tapping screws and pull with
claw hammer, easy peasy.

ACCident!! in june

woman hit me on pass frnt wheel
as i was turning right into a parking spot
woman's ins co. maintains she was passing me using
the right turn lane. well as it turns out
there is no right turning lane...

any way after that
replaced pass caliper and old spindle that i had.

should have seen repair person's face.
"you have a spare spindle??
shouldn't yah think about replacing the car?"

No, i said.
pays to go to pick and pull.

then auto transmission probs came
safe mode 2nd gear
thought it was the water coming in from the dash somewhere
soaking, shorting cpu. cpu says "gear selector sensor circuit"
pulled carpet and then it behaved
then nope back to 2nd and third only
which actually gave me some better mpg.

then barely made it home
bad battery no charging
tested charge on battery with car on started to drop 11.87-.76-.52 so on.

then swapped out alternator,
parts America tested, says its fine...

got a new one anyway,
now trany cpu works fine
100 miles no prob.

bad voltage = bad cpu behavior.

if have a malfunctioning cpu
test charging system.

I just passed 135,000 miles on my '07 going strong except the fuel economy is dropping for some reason.
