Look for a 5 spd Accord,then sell the automatic Accord. 5 spd = 100% more fun. More power goes to the ground, and gas mileage is way better (I get 28 MPG city driving in my 2000 LX)
yeah, then with a few simple bolt-ons, you would be set!

the accord driving experience with a 4cyl auto hasn't been my favorite.
Wow! Ive owned lots of 4cyl. cars with n without Auto..from 1.5 up to a 2.5...But im feelin the love from this 2.2 Non Vtec..My car has 276k on Body but motor has around 12k(new) I really cant wait to replace the Axle cuz i been babying it...For a 91 its a fun car..Ive owned V8's and seems the fun factor is pretty high here

Damn you honda and making reliable torqueless engines!

Haha there's a few discussions going on in this here thread.

It was started on the premise of the quality of trade between me and my father, me trading my 02 accord 4cyl for his 01 xterra 6.

Honda doesn't make torqueless engines. They just don't put out that much in low rpm range. Also you're comparing a V6 vs a 4cyl. A V6 accord would run circles around that xterra. BTW if the xterra 4WD?

The xterra may also be supercharged!!! Not a good comparison .... also, as noted, I've smoked Xterra's on the highway! They don't do well above 70-75.

I'd take the 5spd Xterra over the auto Accord any day of the week if I were still in high school and had the choice.
