So Hopefully no one takes offense to this but... Why isn't there a forum/section for racing specific questions... I may be just over looking it but I'm more interested in SCCA Rally style setups and such, cosmetic changes and stickers don't do it for me... so where should I be posting to find this information? Does anyone here rally Asphalt (sp?) at all?

lol yea i just dont know if there is anyone who really races their cars professionally. this is more of a tech and street performance kind of group here. its kinda hard to teach someone how to race online. i can help you with some pointers on how to have a quicker reaction time when you drag, heel and toe shifting, double clutching...etc.. but most race questions are something you need to hammer out right there on the track just guess and check. any questions that you have about general tech can go right there though....and welcome to the forum.

 

I would agree that teaching someone to race online may be a bit tricky.... I was more curious about reviews on suspension and clutches etc. used in something other than straight line racing. I've been working on my foot-work etc for a bit (heel-toe, left foot brake, double clutch, swidish flick, looking through corner etc...) but I'm new to the accord and I'm more concerned about race application/real life results

 

Why would you double clutch a car with synchros?

 

if i had a full race tranny with dog gears i wouldnt have any syncros.

 

I was wondering if you found a good forum or place to find out about racing the accords? We race a 1997 EX on a 3/8 mile oval dirt track. looking for ideas myself.
