Default Review of Knock-Off Tablet

About 2 weeks ago I ordered a Chinese Tablet from Ebay.

They are sold under many "brand names" but the tablet is a Wonder Media 8650 (WM8650)

I got mine from a USA seller who roots all the devices.

Mine is running Android 2.2 with a Honeycomb Rom.

I had low expections for the device and really bought it for my GF to use as she likes to play "Words with friends" and some other games like that and the old iphone 2 she was using wasn't working much anymore.

I figured the screen quality was going to be low, the touchscreen function would not be very responsive, the device would be good just for playing her games on.

Well I was wrong, very wrong.

It is an very good, easy to use, pretty amazing piece of equipment.

it has 8 gigs of internal memory and also accepts both USB and Mini-SD memory.

The screen quality is very good, watching movies on it is no problem.

Because of how the software is on the tablet, if you are into torrents you can have anything you want on it. I have already filled it up with the newest books, tons of fun games, and some useful apps.

The best part is I paid $84 shipped with a 1 year warranty.

I recommend it if you are wanting a tablet and do not need to have the newest, most expensive gadget out.

here is a picture

I bought one of the other knock offs and was sorely disappointed, it had almost identical specs except yours only has 600 processor and mine had a 800(which wasn't listed on the specs before I bought it) Well i found it to be very slow and unresponsive, very lame but I am glad that yours is working well for you! I always when a GOOD DEAL works out well
Cheers

Mine has the 800 mhz processor as well.

I have researched them a good bit and it seems to really depends on which software you are running.

I have not used many (none) tablets but I do know what responsive and lagging is and this one seems to work more then decent.

Here I made a short video (excuse the crappy quality of my cheap camera)

let me know if you think it is slow. >>>CLICK PICTURE BELOW FOR VIDEO<<<

If anyone with a tablet would tell me how the speed seems on mine that would be great.

Just click on the picture above it is a short video of different apps running

It looks fine, but I work for a Telecommunications company and we have the fastest, newest, equipment so everything on paper looks slow,

Honestly, thats pretty damn good for $84. Its definetly not as smooth as an ipad and doesnt look as sleek, buy your also paying $300 less. I think it was well worth it. Good buy. Good buy indeed
