We got a little over 6 inches of snow over night. So now I get to spend the day clearing things out/off....cars, heat pump. Heck at ~3 am the wife woke me up because snow had covered/stuck to the sat dish and she had no TV.....really knocking snow off a dish at 3 am, the things we do

I measured right at 6 inches, the news is reporting 6.7 inches in the town where I live.

At least we have power, right now, there are places around where they lost power.
I like the fancy ruler you measured the snow with..same brand as mine is.

That is the thing around here.....even if you get snow, it starts to melt the next day....add a cold night and there you go.....skating the next am. Just like Sunday am, 13 cars in one spot when skating down a hill by the airport. In one shot is look like 6~8 of them stacked like wood next to/on each other.

Yea, I was standing there in the garage try to think of the best way to take a measurement and remembered I had that out there.....stuck it right on the hood of the Ford Truck....it was reported as 6.5 in Wake Forest and 6.7 in Youngsville, since I live right in the middle of the two, I'll go with an official 6.6 inches

I just hope it is over and warm weather shows up soon.....Yes I know many of you laugh at this and my rant about it but again you have to remember I don't deal with it well and don't like it....I really would like it to be 100 outside than below 40, that is just who I am.

I guess there is something for everybody; I of course would much rather -40°F (and wind on top of it) than 100°F. When the temperature gets that warm I become physically ill, often dangerously so.

Yea, something for everyone. I'm the total other way.....below 40 and I don't want to do anything and it "hurts".......at 100 I'm ready for almost anything, yes it might be a tad uncomfortable but it doesn't "hurt".
