Hehehehehehe I thought it was hilarious (as long as no one got seriously hurt)

EDIT: The white escape you see get hit is the news crews car that the cameraman was running from.

Hey...yall have to remember a few things about the South:
1) Since it rarely (if ever) snows here, the DOT does not salt the roads to melt the ice & snow.
2) Nobody buys snow tires because we don't need them
3) Even if we wanted to buy chains for our tires, I doubt you could find any in the South

But with that said: I agree that most people here that do have wrecks in the snow do so due to their own carelessness and stupidity.
I saw multiple vehicles stuck in medians and off the side of the road on my way home from work yesterday. They were all rear wheel drive vehicles haha.
I never once got close to losing control of the LX.
The schools are still closed today! Lazy bums. When I drove to work this morning there was not an ounce of ice on the road! Just a few little pieces on the bridges. The sun is now shining and everything has melted. It will probably be back in the 70's before long.

70 degrees in Misery?!?!?!

We got a worse dumping of snow than that last week and they didn't salt/plow the roads forever.

It's almost 80 outside today. I had to turn the AC on in my house.
There was snow and ice on the ground a week ago.
That's Mississippi for you [&o]
