I am in the market to buy a new tig welder and plasma cutter hopefully all in one unit so that I can do some mods .....I have spoken to some of the bigger companies and they are a little to expensive for me at the time so I was wondering if anyone had any advice on where to look for some affordable but reliable welding companies

 

Lots of equipment reviews and opinions on youtube on the subject of welding. I found "weldingtipsandtricks" to be an excellent resource. I am not a welder myself, but have always had an interest and gained a bit of knowledge in my profession on pipeline engineering.
