hey i got a ticket last month for not having headlights on during night
just came in mail tht ticket is 222 for bail but my court date is on 2/25

do they shorten it if i plead guilty or anyhting?
how does this work ive never gotten ticket b4

 

Well I'm not a lawyer, but in most places if you go to court and truly do have a clean record, the judge or prosecutor will lower the fine or maybe even dismiss the ticket on a 6 month 'probation'.
Sometimes they will tell you to complete a green cross traffic safety class;
thats like $30 and a couple hours.
The one thing to consider is keeping it off your record so your insurance doesn't go up 99.9999%.

 

awesome..this is my first traffic ticket and i hope i get my fine lowered because im paying for it and i do not have a job or anyhting
i do have the money but would like keeping it haha

 

Be humble & apologetic & polite when you go into court. Being arrogant will NOT make the judge feel sympathetic.
