Bought a Cheap Honda Accord 96' turned out that while the engine was great...The Clutch Hydraulics were failing. and the Clutch needed replacement...Luckily my friend and I did most of the work! Car is running top condition now! eventually will buy shocks and do a timing belt replacement! and It will certainly drive like new. New Clutch in as of today :d So happy I popped the clutch like 3 times already Damn! Not used to the new hotness lol

I hate this! I just came back from the auto show and sat in a 2013 Accord and it is REALLY NICE!!! They fixed the lumbar seat issue, really did a nice job with the interior. Hopefully the transmission is better.

I just noticed something interesting. I picked up Honda's brochure on the "All-New 2013 Accord."

On the bottom of the first page, in tiny print it says, "Honda vehicles are manufactured using domestic & globally sourced parts."

Wonder if that's a nice way of saying "Cheap, Outsourced Parts."

Maybe, but the major problems in new cars is a recent phenomenon.

This link has some interesting information on the Accord assembly plant. Check out the "Ohio Operations" Tab.

1. uhhhhmmm fuel pump wire harness burnt through the wire insulation causing short outs on hot days.

2. Transmission decided it no longer liked 1st gear @ 150k

3. front right lower control arm ball joint's boot had been ripped for 50k miles (i just kept squirting grease in) finally replaced it.
