RE: URGENT! Need Timing Marks for the Timing Belt
Cam gear: The two marks on each side of the gear with the UP mark facing, well, up, should be flush with the engine head.
Crank pulley: Red mark is TDC. The white dots are as follows: middle = 15*BTDC; first and last = +/- 6*(?) from 15*BTDC.
To check if it's in time allow the car to fully warm up and jump the SCS connector in the passenger footwell and then shine a timing light connected to cylinder #1 on the crank pulley. The middle white dot should line up with the arrow on the timing belt cover. Rotate the distributor to adjust as needed.
