Ugh calc! I'm taking applied calc. Didn't need it at the school I got my bachelors at, but need it at the school where i'm getting my masters. It's been like 4 years since my last math class. Kind of weird returning to school after a hiatus, huh?

Yeah man i know how ya feel, when i was in high school i could not get myself to do any homework at home, i always did it the period before it was do in school, never brought a book home. same thing with tests. i never really applied myself but i still graduated with a 3.0 though, good enough for me. college is a little different, but not that much

HELLZ YEA!
when i saw the new ninja 250 design i was phsyched, i plan on buying one as my starter bike too. cant wait to start riding, but gota get out of the house first. My mom is one of those crazy anti-everything-dangerous people, so she thinks bikes should be illegal. rediculous.

and before anyone thinks im just trying to be rebellious, i didnt even know my mom was against em until after i asked if i could have one.

i dont think ill ever buy something like a hayabusa though, i want to live.

Ughh I hated Chemistry. I did fine in it in high school, but college chemistry was a different story. I don't think I ever did figure out buffer problems. Calculus wasn't too bad as long as I did the homework and studied. math has always come easy for me though. I kind of liked physics in high school. it was very interesting to me, but I never got to physics in college. After freshman year I switched majors from Mechanical Engineering (After getting a D inthe secondsemester of chemistry)and wound up getting a BBA. Before college, I had never gotten a C on a report card or progress report. All A's and B's including the AP classes. College was a real eye opener to say the least. i wound up graduating with a 3.3 something (I think it was either 3.33 or 3.35)though. in my experiences though, in the business world, anything 2.5 or above is acceptable. It is actually a proven fact that most millionaires were "c" students anyway.

Well ..... I never took college Chem ..... got 8 credits for AP in HS. I never took Calc1 either.

In HS I got all A's & B's, but in college I think I got like 3 A's total. I'm proud to say that I've never been on academic probation like almost all of my friends at some point, but I graduated with a QCA of 2.53. QCA is basically the same as GPA except that they use +'s and -'s ...... ie, a 92 is an A-

Yeah after I got out of Mechanical Engineering they made it where you only needed one semester of Chemistry (I got a B in that one). I thought it was retarded that a Mechanical Engineer should have to take college level general chemistry (the same one the pre-med students take).
But I don't regret it. i like my job
If I had a time machine though, I would go back and start off as a business major. All of my "core" classes were way above the level of the business major "core" classes. haha! I remember when my fraternity brothers were taking business calculus. i had already taken Cal 1 and 2 in the engineering program so I didn't have to take business cal. We covered all ofbusiness cal in like 1 month in Cal1.
