I am not looking for a V-6 but came across this deal and while I don't know what a 97 V-6 is worth just yet, it seems like a fair deal coming from the dealer and has fairly low mileage at 114,000.

Are these motors as reliable as the 4cylinders and what kind of gas milage would I expect ?

1. That price is too high.
2.thats a 2.7 lt motor.. that gets about 21/28
3.I have heard bad stories about the 97 v6

But none the less it is a honda reliable motor.

 

Well a v6 with leather naturally goes higher then the 4 and this is from a dealer, I thought it seems pretty fair, of course that is just his asking price too.

 

I got my 98 fully loaded with everything, for 3 grand. I could imagine how much it would of been at the dealer.

 

I wouldn't get a C27. Read enough about Jon's problems ..... 00accordlx5spd

A C27, what us that, what the V-6 is know as ?

 

C27 is the 2.7L V6 engine in the 5th gen accords. Yes, engine designation.

 

There's a reason why Jon calls his C27 Accord the "Money Pit"
