I am selling my 2002 Honda Accord EX V6. I am interested in a straight sale or trade for a Jeep Wrangler of similar value/condition. Please read all the information below if interested. Sorry it's so long, but I've personally provided all the information I can about my car.
The car is in great shape and I am the second owner. I am very good friends with the original owner and I know the entire history of this car.
This Accord is the perfect mix of sport and luxury. It is the highest model in the Accord line for 2002.

It is fully loaded with the following:

200hp 3.0 Liter V6 engine w/ VTec (Great gas mileage)

The car also comes with the stock 16" alloy wheels with useable rubber. The spare tire and jack is included as well.
There are 123k adult driven miles on the car. It has current inspection through Sept, 2008.
I have the maintenance records from my mechanic to confirm that the following maintenance is complete and up to date:

Timing belt

External engine belts

Water pump & seal

New brakes

Air filter

Cabin filter

Fuel filter

Coolant flush

Transmission flush & service

Spark plugs.

All this work was done in Feb. 2007.

The title is clear and in my posession.

The steering is straight and the suspension is taught. There is absolutely no ticking or any other sound from the engine and the transmission shifts flawlessly. The car is very responsive and provides great accelleration with smooth power delivery, along with good handling. This car is fun to drive, and is very comfortable for longer trips.

While it is 100% mechanically sound, it does have a couple minor cosmetic blemishes. On the rear passenger quarter panel, there is some minor damage to the plastic panel. There is also a small dent in front of the rear wheel. This was caused by the previous owner. He clipped a parked car while rounding a corner on very tight and congested streets.

I also managed to bump into a deer. As seen in the pics, the damage is minimal. Thanks to good brakes (abs) I was able to almost stop before hitting him. The hood was pushed in a little. This damage does not affect how the hood opens or closes; the hardware is not misaligned and the hinges are straight. A body shop can massage the hood back to like new. See pics for close-ups. Of course, there are also a few scratches here and there as on any car that's a few years old.

The interior is nearly flawless. The driver side carpet shows some visible wear, but other than that, it's very clean. The interior was designed after business class airline travel, so it is very comfortable and user friendly. It's very spacious; even the rear seats are spacious for a coupe. The trunk is HUGE and the rear seats fold forward for even more storage capacity. The headlights are very bright and effective, and the foglights provide good light around the side of the road, though the driver side foglight bulb needs to be replaced.

The check engine light is on. I had it checked and the reason is a bad O2 sensor in the exhaust. $100 and 20 mins is the fix. It doesn't affect how the car runs, so I never bothered fixing it. The tech told me I might get slightly better fuel mileage by replacing the sensor. I can provide a report from the shop to verify this.

The car starts, runs and drives perfectly. All features and functions operate flawlessly. The AC blows cold and the heat blows hot. The cd player and cassette work fine and the sound is nice and clear. ABS and Traction Control both operate fine and really provide great traction in winter and on loose terrain like sand and gravel.

All in all, this is a great car, and the only reason I'm selling is to get a Jeep or truck because it will better suit my lifestyle and needs.
I am willing to meet with anyone seriously interested for vehicle inspection and test drive.
All reasonable offers and trades will be considered. While I am most interested in a trade for a Jeep Wrangler, all comparable vehicle trades will be considered.
