After skimming through all of his posts, I'm starting to think that David is innocent and Mai Doan is the culprit. David seems to be a fellow gearhead.

I just got a pm about this from someone like 2 days ago and it's already hit ic3, been banned and everything else? Just goes to show you that this is the wrong forum to try and scam.

Hey. My name is Michael A. I'm also known as 20Michael03. And am from Acura-Legend.com, another car forum. As you all know we have been defrauded against from a gentleman by the name of David Doan and other alias. I am currently now spearheading an investigation to stop this criminal from further committing internet fraud against people like yourself (if you have fallen victim). I ask that you follow several steps. First, file a claim with the method of payment you used, for many I know this will be paypal. Go to their resolution department and file your claim ASAP. Secondly, contact your local police department and file a case. Once you've done so, let them know you are not the only victim, and that you have further information pertaining to this person and his whereabouts. Next if you feel comfortable you may give them my contact information, that can be obtained through pming me. And I will speak with them. Also let them know other members and victims are working with their police departments as this could develop into a joint-task case. And lastly, go to ic3.gov . This is the FBI Fraud Crime Prevention reporting website. On one final note , please do not take police matters into your own hands, by going around them or alone. I hope to work with your members, to get this resolved swiftly and quickly. Thanks
