Could anybody recommend a good transmission rebuild shop in SF area?

 

no not really i dont think one exists in the whole country. ill tell you one not to go to.....here in az in tempe it was called a+ transmission....lol that was some bullshieeet. i had a ****box a long time ago a hyundai elantra....dont get one...ever. well ofcourse the tranny went bad so i took it there and they put a new one in for like 3000 dollars, and they left all the metal shavings from the old on in the cooler so they just got sucked up in the new one, and burned that one out. luckily it was still under warranty, so i got another new one, and i noticed that one started f ing up so i just sold it and made it someone elses problem....whew....glad i have my accord 254k and still on the same tranny and probably will be forever. i wonder just how many miles i can put on this car. i spoke to one of the designers of my car and he told me that it was designed to last 750 thousand miles....thats a ****load.
