Need full set of CV Boots
Need all four cv boots for 94 lx 2dr coupe 5 speed. Anybody have any for sale in good condition? Also looking for replacement 5 speed tranny, 2nd gear makes a rattling noise in the tranny

Ok. I found an Autozone near here that has all 4 boots and the axles for both sides. Talked to a co worker at the Ford dealership I work at that is going to install them for me for dirt cheap. So I'm actually going to try to get all 4 boots and both axles done. Autozone quoted me approx. $140 for 4 boots and both axles out the door. A tech at the dealership said its usually better to do the axles at the same time.

Always best to do the job fully and instead of 1/2 way..

"If it's not broke don't fix it until it is".
Go to your Honda dealer and ask for c/v joint boot kits.
They have them for around $25 or so each, times four.
The inboard and outboard kits are different, (the boot size and grease type) and these kits contain the "Honda" boots, proper quantity and grade of grease and band clamps.
If the c/v joints aren't bad, the boots aren't torn and haven't let in any dirt, (which can be cleaned if no damage has been done to the bearings) or aren't clicking when you drive or turn there's no reason to replace them.
The service manual shows how to do this replacement and if you have a vise and some rags it's not a tough job.
You'll also need the proper amount of transmission fluid because when you remove the drive shafts you have to drain the transmission or the fluid will go all over the floor.
