I don't have a V-6 so I don't know how the steel line is fastened below the view in this photo.

Does it need the flexibility of a hose to handle vibration & movement of the engine inside the engine-bay? It doesn't look like a long-enough hose to accommodate movement of the engine; but maybe it's still needed for thermal expansion of everything between the fuel-rail and wherever the next bracket is located?

it just leads to the other fuel rail and is connected the same way on both ends
two posts up, it shows entire line, but the end is blocked by the alternator wire. but its the same as the other end, not sure why its odd shaped and more steel on one end, perhaps because it snakes behind the power steering pump and alternator

So maybe it's more about assembly tolerances & what order the stuff is installed at the factory?

Don't make it 1 direct straight line, because then it won't accommodate thermal expansion of the engine.

Do you think there is a reason the rubber hose is so much bigger than the metal line?

I strongly suspect the inner diameter of both are roughly the same.

I was thinking the same thing. We'll find out when I cut the sucker apart.
I wish my gopro had better audio, but in its case, you cant hear anything. I have a head mount and would have loved videoing everything, but honestly, who here has a 94-97 v6 accord?

Ok so, fuel line (on hold at the moment), trying to get everything else done where I can put the car back on the ground. Yesterday got both axles in, tires on, exhaust on and with it being up in the air, I figured it was easier to install the radiator since my trans cooler lines hook up at the bottom of the radiator. (the 2 mounting brackets for the metal cooling line dont look right) Now, one thing that has always been since I bough the car is that someone cut the plug wires on the driver's side for the radiator fan (cooling fan). Both radiator fans are connected to power from the passenger side(condensor fan). Is THAT an issue that I need to address?
