Breeze speaking of cops one of my good friends is a security officer who works for the police in Charlotte... that's funny... I had a brand spankin new corvette z06 pull up to me the other day and creep forward then fall back etc. I was like no way am I going to even attempt to race her.... the worst was that I had to turn off in a block for my house so she laughed at me like I was intimidated... I want my turbo

 

I live about 30 minutes north of charlotte. Charlotte is a little more city than spots north of it. The more north you go the more cows you see. Sir don't worry about the corvette chick. I think she may have been flirting with you.. Breeze

 

yeah don't worry about that vette man. My friend whipped a corvette C05 with his 04' GT automatic. I was in the car laughing my butt off. The guy in the vette had his wife/girlfriend in there and he looked over at us and then mashed it. hearing that engine open up, my friend mashed his. It was so close for the first 100 feet, but the corvette just couldn't pass the stang' and we pulled away slowly. The dude in the vette was pissed too and asked what was done to the mustang at the next light. It had to hurt to hear that the mustang only had a K&N drop in filter done to it.

And the cool part is I can kick his mustang's butt with my accord [8D]

the Z06, however, is a different story.... don't know if I can mess with a car with that much power yet! [:@]

 

yeh unless the corvette was running on 2 cylinders... the C5 corvettes run roughly 400 HP and umm a auto Gt isent fast... so yeh...

 

Yeah, the new C6s are even meaner. I think it's 404hp on the C6 and the C6 Z06 is a huge 505. I plan to get one of those someday and boost the hell out of it.

Yeah, I'm still trying to figure it out. Maybe the guy had cement in his trunk or something? Perhaps it was a stingray and not a C5? Missed a shift or two? I have no clue. I've seen a few GTs in my day and I just never thought they were that fast.

Yeah Legionofone, how about putting the lingenfelter twin turbo kit on the C6. Thats the way to go if you've got the money.
