Car looks good, now start modding

 

I can't mod anything. My parents won't let m. For example I bought some Hawk HPS front brake pads and they wouldnt let me put those in. My step dad said if I or anyone else does something and they're not a mechanic he will take me off the insurance.

 

That sucks, you need to wrench on your own car to learn and brake pads are easy.

 

That what I was planning to do....until i decided to show him...Its funny cause he was like im not risking you total the car and then we lose our house bla bla bla... I said to myself yea upgrading my brakes so i can stop better will cause me to total my car LOL.

 

Lose a house because of a totaled car? HAHAHAHAHAHA


The thing to do is go over to a buddy's house and mod there then drive back. They'll never know, especially with brake pads.

 

Thats what i was gonna do but now I don't wanna risk him catching me somehow. Plus it sucks becauseI want a engine damper now and most likely wont be able to get it because I hear when you install it it sends the vibrations to the cabin so he would def notice that. blackex19: You have the same lights as I do? ..... and you're selling them for $30?!?!? Mine blended into the car color perfectly because I had them painted Nighthawk Black .... the black bezel that it comes with is just raw black plastic that is made to be painted.

Ray: The NRG damper is what I have .... it's great as a damper, but it is a universal kit ..... both cars I've had it custom mounted in. Other kits like Ingalls are made to fit without custom mounts, just look for the damper to NOT be mounted to the strut tower or too close to the firewall ..... that will cause cabin vibration.

That's what I have ..... One of these days, I need to have a look at your car ..... my old mount from the V6 might work. I had it mounted from a bolt hole that I found in the head to a stock engine mount base. If that works, then the NRG will go on easily ..... but it will have a custom mount holding it on.
