Seafoam is a cleaner, you dump (not literally) some in your engine, your motor oil, your gas tank, and watch the carbon deposits in your car go bye bye.

And yes it smells great.

I put 1/2 and 1/2 in the gas and intake. Mine smoke for the first 2 revs and then quit. Guess I didnt have much carbon deposits.

Also, you arent supposed to suck it out of the can. Doing so could cause the same effect as hydrolocking if you suck a ton up. I divided the seafoam in two plastic bandable cups and let the hose suck up the seafoam in a constant but slow and small stream.

Did you make sure to let the Seafoam sit for a bit? You should wait 15 minutes to an hour before starting your engine again. As for the hydrolocking, I was well aware of that. I made sure to suck in only a little bit at a time, just gotta be a little cautious is all.
