Default 06 Accord Broken Driver Strut

First Time Poster and Tuning Newbie hereso please be gentle.

I had a setof Eibach Pro Kit Lowering springs put on my car about6 months ago and my tires have been wearing real bad on the inside even after an alignment. I mentioned that the driver front hits hard when I go over bumps and was told the strut was broken. The technician told me I will have to have them replaced. He said the part from Honda was about $500 but I should probably look online. I find Honda Shocks everywhere but no stuts. What is the recommendation for replacement performance struts. Additionally, the tech mentioned that I will want to put a camber kit on to be able to truly align the car.

So, if I have about $1000 to spend what are the recommendations?

Thanks

Bilsteins for the best performance, Koni adjustables for the custom ride.

Side note: shocks and struts are both interchangeable term for dampers. Try the tirerack.com, it's very easy to use and have fairly competitive prices. They sell both Koni Sports (yellow) and Bilstein Sports and HDs, along KYB AGX and GR-2's.

Thanks to both of you. Can you tell me about the camber kits as well?

Shouldn't need a camber kit with Pro-Kits... I had those springs and I didn't need a camber kit on my car... even with 240 treadwear tires I never wore them unevenly. Take your car to a different shop for the alignment. If you do, it's only for the rear and I would go with Ingall's or SPC, both in the $200-$300 range.

As far as wear on the inside of two front sets tires you think just bad alignments both times? Could the broken strut have caused one set?
