Strut Mount

RE: Strut Mount
That is bad news...you will have to replace the entire strut...the allen head is part of the piston assembly inside the strut. The only way I can think of getting the coil off of the strut is to wrap rubber glove (the yellow rubber ones for cleaning around the house) around the shaft. Place a pair of locking pliers around the glove and use an air gun to get the nut off. Oh...one important thing...make sure you have the spring compressor on the coil....you could be in for a BIG surprise if you don't use the compressor.
