aluminum strut bars?
im looking at these megan racing strut bars that are 100% aluminum, would they perform as good as any other strut bars? or i would have to get a better material for a less body roll?
Well, aluminum is a stiffer metal than steel, so it should perform the function "better" than steel. Your ride will probably be rougher, though, and aluminum (unlike steel) doesn't bend well...it breaks. So there is that possibility.
I think aluminum would decrease body roll better than steel, but the trade-off would be an increased roughness in ride.

If you are talking about a front strut bar, dont worry about a decrease in ride quality. I put a front strut bar on my car a couple years ago, it tightened up the steering a bit, didnt affect the ride quality though. Its a Tenzo R aluminum bar, in the same condition as the day I bought it, although dirtier lol. I would recommend you get one. They're pretty cheap anyway.
Poser is right........... A tower strut brace cannot affect ride one way or the other. It also has little to do withbody roll. That would be the anti sway bar. The two combined make a significantly better handling car with noticably less roll.
