Default Daily driver setup - strictly a commuter

Alright well I just picked up a 96 Accord sedan that was traded in at my brother's work; one-owner car, literally owned by an old lady, garaged all its life. I mainly bought the car because I wanted something that'd be good on gas and also be pretty comfortable for a man of my 6'3" stature. The fact that the car was unmolested by local ricers and it literally looks like it spent the last fifteen years buried in a time capsule was icing on the cake Given it's my commuter car (80 miles a day) I want to keep the ride comfortable. I also don't wish to slam the car because Iowa winters are unpredictable and I'd rather not get stuck because I wanted a good looking ride. I've done some research and I'm looking at Eibach Pro or H&R OE Sport springs, either would be paired with a decent set of shocks but I'm not sure what to get. I'm not looking for race-ready features, just shocks that will handle the drop and provide long life and a decent ride quality. Though, for what springs and shocks will cost, it stands to reason I'll be approaching the cost of a set of coilovers, perhaps the Tein Basics.

I've done the research but I'll admit, I'm stuck on which way to go.

I feel your pain man, no replies. What did you end up getting? I'm 6 2" and looking for an Eibach ProKit with the proper Shox. Or a better alternative. Did you ever think or adjust ur setup over the proper camber? Where are all the ACCORD Owners in this GHOSTTown!?!?!?

I know it's late, but some KYB GR2's (around $200 ebay) would 'get the job done.' It's designed as an OE replacement but can handle a 0.5" drop just fine.

There's also the Tokico HP (Blues). They go for around $285 cheapest on ebay. They would last longer than the GR2's and can typically handle around a 1.5" drop just fine I hear.

I know what you mean. I think there's just too many Accord forums and everyone's divided. I spend most of my time on other forums though. Plus, the typical Accord modder is a hard worker and is prolly busy with work and/or school I guess.
