or can you just do it yourself at home?

you can adjust them on your own... if you want your suspension to work at its best then you need to have the car corner weighted. a scale goes under each wheel and you adjust the suspension until the height and weight is as close to possible from side to side.

Light Show knows...that is one of the proper ways to sdjust your coil-overs like he says...
