either doing it yourself with a floor jack or going to the mechanic to use the hydrollic lift
whether you do or dont, please tell me what year your accord, the size of your rims, and how much you dropped your car
this would be very helpful because i am worried that when i lower my car i wont be able to jack it up...

 

i have a 97 accord with 18 inch rims lowered 1.8 inches, i have jacked it up myself, lifted it myself, and had mechanics lift it no problem.

 

I had my civic lowered and couldn't get most jacks underneath it.... however, easily fixable, just get a 2x4 or similar size block of wood and drive up onto it then the jack slides right underneath with no problems

 

was your civic on stock rims?
and what year was the civic?

 

94 Civic DX on 15's, but low pro tires so the diameter was the same size as stock tires....

 

how much was your civic lowered?

 

yeah it's a pain in the rear to lift a lower car, on a hydrolic lift ( i know cause i'm a tech at honda) but we all do it. if the arms from the lift don't go underneath the lifting points, we use jacks. if the jack can't fit from the front, we jack the car up from the back (that's how everyone does it with the s2k) so go ahead slam your car on the ground, cause if you got the will you'll get that car up in the air (and if you're smart enough not to damage anything, can't speak for all the techs out there)

 

my civic was lowered 2" I believe... maybe 2.5" can't recall for 100% sure... it was low enough to hit speed bumps *L* And like EMEX said providing the person isn't an idiot you should be able to lift the car just fine

the only major concern it ever posed for me was if somethign broke down, once you lower your car a fair amount if you break down and need a tow then you almost have to have a flatbed truck pickup your car...
