Default everything is in sets of 4?

i've been thinking about this for months now. i wanted to finish the trunk work so i saw how much weight i was towing around, and i did move most of the weight between teh strut towers. i want to drop the front about 1"-1.5" or so to eliminate the excessive fender gap and improve the stance. i don't want to drop the rear, instead, i just want to stiffen up the rear a tad.

i keep finding springs in sets of 4. I want to replace springs and shocks but i'm trying to avoid going over $1k for fully adjustable coil overs at four corners.

I've been looking at H&R and Eibach, and like the pro-kit plus but like it said, i don't want to drop the rear, even 0.5".

I fully expect a camber kit for the front, and an alignment after the drop will confirm the amount of camber adjustment necessary so i choose the right adjusters.

Thoughts and experience on a custom setup like this for up to or under a grand? Maybe front adjustable coil overs and some aftermarket rear springs and shocks that are OE Sport without a drop? I'm not looking to totally sacrifice ride quality for an improved stance, however; I do corner fairly quickly on a regular basis.

I will continue to look into this myself, but i'll pose the question for others who may want to do the same thing.

Thanks HAF

Personally go with a full coilover set up...you won't sacrifice ride quality awith GOOD name brand coilovers and you can adjust each corner how you want. This Tein set up I found is under 800bucks. With a camber kit you will be under a grand for a GOOD set up and you will be happy with them. Tein makes some good stuff...the other brand I would recommend it Function and Form...but I can't find anything for your car...do some digging around and see if you can find Function and Form type 1's they run about 600bucks for them and they are a awesome set up for the price.
I wouldn’t try and piece a set up 2geather…1. You want all your suspension composites to be the same around the whole car and 2. By the time you piece 2geather a set up it will be the same price maybe even more than the real full coilover set up. I made this mistake be4 when I did my suspension…I got struts and coilovers that slid on the struts…by the time I was done I could have spent 40bucks more for the real deal and had a much much much better ride…you live and learn. But that’s my recommendations on what you should do.

thanks for the input. up till now the suspension has been stock, 130k mi. later and it's time for an upgrade.

my concern with the Tein DSH94-LUSS2 is that while having an adjustable ride height - it's a minimum 0.9" drop front and rear. I don't want a drop in the rear. We'll see, maybe i have an issue that is causing the rear to sit lower than it should. I'll take a look at some other same year/model accords.

Thanks!

Tanbe Sustec Pro S-0C
- TSC023
Damping Front/Rear is 8.0/4.0
Height Adjustment Front is -1/4 ~ 2 1/2 inches
Height Adjustment Rear is +1/4 ~ 2 inches
