Help with struts

Default Help with struts

I have a 99 accord. Wanting to put new struts and spring on. What would be a good one to buy? Don't wanted it lowerd nothing more then 1 inch. What would be a good size rim to buy?

If you don't want lowered, then go with a stock set up from Rock Auto using KYB struts.
As for what rims? That's your choice. But, keep in mind there are limited options for the 4x114.3mm set up that the Accord uses (you didn't mention if you had 4 or 5 lugs on the car). Also you'll want to use a "tire calculator" if you decide to go with a 16 thru 18 inch size.



The stock size on a 99 is 195-65-15 on a 15x6 inch rim with 40mm offset.

The 1999 V6 cars have 5-lug wheels, and I think they have a different "stock" tire size.
