Default how low is too low?

if i lower my 91 accord 1.7 on the back and front with a set of 17 inch rims, do you guys think i will have any trouble on the roads?
like hitting speed bumps and going into driveways / plazas
what if i got 16 inch rims?
(eibach sportline springs with tokico shocks)

I have about a 2 inch drop with 17's and have had no problems with clearence. Ok, well sometimes I'll get a scrape, but it's mostly from my intercooler mounting bolts hitting a sharp angle (yes, they drop that low). Even still, they have plenty of clearence for 99.2% of the things out there. On a non turbo accord I'd say no problem. Heck, even on mine I'd say no problem (just fab the mounting hardware so the intercooler sits higher)

thanks
i was just wondering this because i know someone with a stock 98 or 99 accord with a 2 inch drop
he tells me that he hits everything and has a hard time going over speed bumps and stuff
im thinking that its because his shocks are still stock, could these softer shocks cause him to bottom when going over things and cause him to hit stuff?
he also has no camber kit...

That's a good point. When I had the stock sturts on and the lowering springs, I would scrape tons of stuff. With the new struts, bumps and things like that haven't been a problem. Now if you get a body kit, you may have some trouble, but I think you would be fine with a good suspension set up.
