For the first time, you are better off having a shop or someone who knows what they are doing do it. Especially because sometimes you will have problems getting the stock suspension off, due to seized bushings, bolts, parts, etc. Just ask if you can watch them do it, so you know what to do in the future. And air tools make the job 10x easier.

you can do it, with the right tools. it's not just power tools, but impact tools that fit in tight places. you can usually rent tools from national autoparts stores (pay for tool but get full refund upon return).

buying a shop manual will help you a lot. as will a few cans of PB Blaster.

you will certainly need a spring compressor and want to watch a few videos on using them, they are dangerous if not properly used.

I am getting a power impact wrench hopefully today. I did pick up some PB Blaster and some anti seize. What kind of manual were you talking about? Like a manual for my car or?

also will I need spring compressors if I put on a full coilover set up? Doesn't the function form type 1 come with everything you need as far as not having to take apart your stock shocks and springs?

I have watch some videos on YouTube and stuff and it seems like that they didn't touch the stock shocks/springs after they had taken it off. Unless they were doing a coilover sleeve install or lowering springs.

Thanks for your help man
