Default Lowering 1 inch

Please help. I want to lower my 02' coupe front 1 inch and my back 1/2 inch. Or at least lower my front more than my back, but don't want to go over 1 inch in the front. Is this possible? someone told me i just need springs. if so, which springs will give me this small drop? will it give me more of a stock ride, which i prefer - i'm not a racer. not too expensive, i hope.

Also, i have 18's with 45+ offset with 235/40/18's and they stick out a centimeter past the front fenders. If i lower the car, will the tire hit the fender? anyone know of an inexpensive place in the chicagoland area / northern suburbs to install, maybe even buy the springs?

Thanks for your help.

Default RE: Lowering 1 inch

just saw the post for the hr oe springs. again, my tires stick out past the fenders in front-they don;t tuck under. will lowering the car, even by .75 inch in front cause my tire to hit the fender or is the spring stiff / strong enough where it won't hit. my stock springs don't allow my front tires to hit the front fender. thanks.
