x2 ^^^ ...... for a real suspension, you need springs, shocks and a camber kit. Pillow-ball mounts are optional. What kind of ride are you looking for???

You're not going to get it in your price range...

I can get 31% off Koni shocks: $607 (already broke your budget)
Eibach Springs: ~$230
Camber Kit: $150-250

Total: ~$1057

I would also suggest saving up.. it's worth it.. if you buya system for ~500 you're goign to be replacing it soon enough, spending another ~500, and then you've just spent your ~1k

im thinking about buying the struts and springs at different times now. what struts are better Tokico hp or the KYB agx? and would both of those work with neuspeed sport springs?

and after i would buy that wouldnt i also have to go with a camber kit? if anyone knows of a good place for those can u please let me know. thanks

Trust me, i know what you mean about college... *whew* I'm glad I'm done with that!

I would do the struts before the springs, but I can't speak to any that you've suggested.
Reason I'd do that is lowered springs can cause extra work on your struts, thus blowing them prematurely.

As for the Neuspeed, people seem to like them alright but I've heard they're a tad soft?

The camber kit can only be determined AFTER an alignment (and you better do one each time you change something on the suspension or you'll regret it) and has too much negative camber.

Is that how much you can get the konis w/ or w/o the discount?

Ever looked into a full coilover setup?

I'm slightly torn on coilovers... As I understand it, if one component goes out the entire thing is trash... i'd rather just replace struts as needed and keep the springs for their entire life.

Spaz .... why is that??? The dampers are rebuildable and the components are the same as a standard setup ..... the only differance is that all of the parts are sized and guqged to work with each other.
