RE: lowering
oh ok that makes sense, but what goes into the "rebuildable" portion? do you have to cut things and do inserts? imo that's a pita and i'd rather have separate components if that's the case.
to me it's like having a pda and a phone as one... yeah it's cool, but if i want to upgrade i have to change the WHOLE thing when it's not relaly needed... my phone can always dial a number, that will never change (unless of course GSM dies out), but the pda could be updated regularly for more support..
i see this as the same concept.. but maybe i'm wrong?

RE: lowering
i've been wanting to drop my 6th gen to for the longets, but lots other car problems keep using up my money instead! i was thinking of either TIEN or GROUNDCONTROL , because those seem to be popular from where i'm at .. and i heard just the TIEN springs alone, are just like stock ride, just way sexier haha

Spaz: rebuildable dampers are in case you kill one. Not really an issue if you don't visit the track. Definately not a reason to prefer a pieced setup over a coilover.
Eibach's are very good springs, but I'd stay away from their shocks. Also, the Ground Control sleeves use Eibach springs ... FYI.
