Lowering my accord

RE: Lowering my accord
The best way is seldom the cheapest.... the best way to do it is get a set of good springs and good shocks/struts.... The cheapest way to do it is usually a set of KYB shocks with Neuspeed springs...which isn't a bad setup but it's not a race setup either...

I've got Tein S-tech springs and KYB GR-2 struts...Its not bad, but not stiff and tight like I wanted it....the S-techs are a softer spring andleave the ride feeling more stock, but lower...I like them for the price. 168 shipped...I would recommend spending a little more on the struts though...maybe get some adjustables, KYB has them and so does about everyone else....they arent cheap though....The GR-2's I have were about 150 per pair, so 300 and some change shipped....some Koni adjustables will run you about 300 for a pair....but I think you would like them more and they can be adjusted...I just couldnt spend that much

If you want a nice stiff and tight ride then H&R Cup kit is exactly what you want.... I put it on my 94 civic and got great results, they use H&R springs with Koni Adjusable shocks and the whole kit is about $600-$800.00 depending on your car and where you buy them from.... but given the cost of Koni's alone I'd go with the kit for a race built ride... I installed it to use my car in auto-x...
