Was that part hard? That part of the install kind of scares me. Don't wanna get hurt with the spring hehe.

compressing the springs isn't hard, youjust have to take your time and make sure that they compress evenly. It sounds like Chaqui used a wall mount compressor ..... they make it real easy because it's just 1 clamp, but the cheap kind work well .... just don't rush it. If you need to take the clamps off and re-set them, just do it right, again no rushing!

Go to AutoZone and rent a spring compressor; the kind that looks like this.

Read this: https://www.hondaaccordforum.com/fb.asp?m=90956
and the next post i have after that for some more information.
And be sure to read the suspension faq

Between my helm manual and this link http://www.filtsai.com/accord/suspension/index.php i think i can tackle it. Just worried about compressing the spring hehe. Is an impact wrench necessary?

yep, excellent instructions, often refer to the images myself...

i would also suggest the impact, for speed if nothing else.

Hey i went to this shop to try to lower my accord but the dudes there said that my offset was off. I bought some 18's about a year ago and yea i guess the offset is off. He said theres no way of me fixing that. The fender will grind up against my wheel if i drop my car. Of course I wouldnt want that to happen. So do any of you peeps know or had any similar problems? I believe my tires are 225/40 r18. I can check and let ya'll know if you really need to.
