I bought these lowering springs for my car and should be in by this weeek.

my friend is doing the install. And yes i am just going to use these springs to replace the factory springs. He told me i needed some sort of clip to buy to hold down the springs. I have no idea what he is talking about. Does anybody kno what is he talking about? or is the springs all i need?

You will need to rent a spring compressor (usually free from a parts store, with deposit) to compress the spring, there's no other way to do it.
As far as a clip to hold the spring... do you really trust this guy to work on your car? I've done 3 Accord suspensions and have never once heard of a magical clip...
