Default Monroe 181875

I'm seriously considering putting Monroe 181875 econo-shock strut assemblies in the front of our car. Anyone have these in their car and, if so, what do you think of them?

Thanks

I installed Monroe Quick Struts & endlinks all around a month ago and the car feels great. No more squeaks and drives smooth like a new car. Quick struts are a great value if u look at all the parts that they come with and buy them separetly. Plus they r easier than just struts. Just pull whole unit out put new one in and then thats it, no changing over old springs or tip mounts. I got mine from Rock Auto, if u Google "rock auto discount code" for all four shipped w/ 5% discount its about $470 total. They are between $100 - 115 each.

Thanks! As far as I can tell, though, the Monroe "Econo strut" may not be exactly the same as the "Quick strut", although I might be wrong on that.

yeah the econ strut is just a strut. The quick strut is strut, spring & top mount all bolted together as a unit. Replaces everything at once.

If you do a search for "Monroe 181875", I'm pretty sure you'll find that it is a complete assembly -- shock plus spring.
