ok i have read that lowering springs involve replacing stock struts.
if you get coilovers do you need to change anything like that?

And you all know I'm always pushing my favorite the H&R cup kit for people who want real performance (harsh street ride but handles AMAZING)

RE: question about coilovers???
Skunk2 are well made, but they are more for the track. They are much stiffer than the Tein SS. Spaz's setup is good too! .... but he cheaped out on the camber kit!!! If you are looking for maximum handling performance, I'd go with a fixed, progressive spring, Billsteins, Progress sway bars and every chasis support bar they make for your car (rear lower tie, front strut tower brace .... that's it for mine, but they may have more for your model) ..... oh!!! Look at that!!! A signature!!!! You have the same car I do!!! Look at my pics and this thread for my parts.

oh ok makes sense.
for the camber kit, i know it is involved in alligning(sp?) the wheels but is it truly neccessary?
i have two more questions..
installation myself?...would i be able to do it, one said no, one said yes..?
and what websites do you guys go to, to look at parts and everything, i have found only one that looks pretty legitiment which is andysautosport.com

RE: question about coilovers???
I usually just use google and surf around a lot, I also like to call a company to see if they actually answer their phone...
As for the camber kit, if you don't get one your tires are going to wear VERY quickly

RE: question about coilovers???
For the installation, it depends on your mechanical skill.
For the websites, I usually go to the manufacturer's site and find the model number of the kit and search for the Manufacturer and model number on google .... sometimes I add "sale" or "price".
Don't forget to budget for the Ingalls front upper control arm kit with camber adjuustment! It's expensive, but you won't have to do it again. I used the cheap offset ball joint kit and killed it in a year, not to mention that it has to be ground down so it doesnt hit the body of the car.
I'd guestimate my full suspension setup to be around $2000 installed and aligned .... maybe a few hundred less.
